Meet the founder

Hi, I’m Jess!

I’m the founder of Girls Abroad and Girls Abroad on the French Riviera. I moved to Nice in 2022 with my partner, knowing no one in the area. After trying different ways to meet people, I realised there was a need for a community where young women could connect, make friends, and truly feel at home—so I created Girls Abroad!

I’m 26, originally from England, and I speak French and Spanish. I run a business in event management and catering here on the Riviera, and I also love designing event stationery. In my free time, you’ll find me cooking, hiking, running, skiing, exploring new restaurants, or getting creative with different projects.

I’m so happy you’re here, and I can’t wait to meet you at our next event!

How to get involved

Signing up for Girls Abroad is super simple! Just head to the bottom of this page and choose your membership plan. Once you’re all signed up, you’ll receive an email with everything you need to access our exciting lineup of events. With three flexible payment options—monthly, quarterly, or yearly—you can gain a community and amazing experiences for the price of a coffee and a croissant.
