  • What is Girls Abroad?
    Girls Abroad is a community for young women who have moved to the French Riviera. We host events, activities, and meetups to help members make new friends and explore the area.
  • Who can join Girls Abroad?
    Girls Abroad is open to young women who live on the French Riviera and are looking to connect with like-minded people.
  • What is included in the membership?
    Your Girls Abroad membership gives you access to over ten different events on the French Riviera. A few highlights include: 2 free yoga classes per month (one in Nice and one in Cannes) discounted creative classes like pottery, lino printing, cooking and many more organised drinks, brunches, hikes, coffee mornings... a monthly book club a plus one event you can bring your partner along to! a welcoming host at every event to introduce you to others, help break the ice, and make you feel at home from the start—no awkward first moments! But most importantly: it's a safe space to meet other young women who have moved here and are serious about making friends! Not too bad for the price of a coffee and a croissant!
  • How much does membership cost?
    We offer three membership options: €10 per month €27 per quarter €100 per year (includes a free tote bag!)
  • Can I try before I commit to a membership?
    Yes! You’re welcome to attend our Girls Night on the last friday of every month as a non-member before deciding if you’d like to join. This will hopefully give you a taster of the group and the kind of people who attend.
  • What is the Plus One event?
    To put it simply, a member can bring a non member to the event. This can be a friend who you want to introduce to the group, your partner to meet other partners, your visiting sibling, your colleague, your single friend... Boys allowed!
  • How often do events take place?
    We host over ten events each month, with a mix of small gatherings and larger meetups.
  • Do I need to book in advance for events?
    Yes, most events require advance booking, especially if they have limited spaces. You can do this through the Eventbrite links that are found on the WhatsApp group chat and the Facebook page. They are password protected which will be the password you are sent once you sign up for the membership.
  • How do I cancel my membership?
    You can cancel your membership anytime through your account settings. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
  • What kind of events do you organise?
    Our events include yoga, brunches, drinks, creative workshops, coffee mornings, sports activities, book club and group trips to explore the Riviera.
  • How can I stay updated on upcoming events?
    Once you join, you’ll receive regular event updates through the Facebook group and the WhatsApp announcements on our WhatsApp community. You can also check our Instagram and website for announcements and the calendar of events for the upcoming month.
  • How can I collaborate with Girls Abroad?
